7 Month Photo Gallery

Just a few more photos of me! Lets see... there's me travelling in the car to the USA (for the second time), me at the Bismarck zoo, me chewing on my mesh food holder (that's pear in there), me in just some of my extensive hat collection and me sitting up on my own! I do look good in hats don't I?

Besides sitting up on my own, I'm starting to figure out how to crawl and I'm really watching and listening to my parents as they try to get me to say mama and dada... whatever that means! Anyway, since it is SO important to them, I'm giving it a shot (see my videos). I also really like my bouncer and bounce all the time, even when I'm not in it!

Apparently I'm a bit small for my age so I'm supposed to drink that icky formula. I'll drink it in small doses if it is cold from the fridge. Besides that I'm eating rice cereal, mixed fruit cereal, pears, peaches, apple sauce, squash, sweet potato, carrots and even a bit of peas. Apparently both my parents were fussy eaters so no one should really be surprised that I only eat what and when I want to.

Baptism

This was a very special day! It was so nice to have all of those people there to celebrate with me. I want to thank aunty Lisa and uncle Trevor for being my sponsors, grandpa Kaiser for leading the baptism and for not getting mad when I chewed on his cross (sorry about that!), grandma Kaiser for making my gown... you sure spent a lot of time on that and it is beautiful, the Kaiser family for singing to me, Bread of Life Church for hosting the ceremony and luncheon, and all of the friends and family who came to see me.

I must say I really enjoyed the part with the water, it was cool and refreshing on my head on such a hot day. It all became just a bit too much for me near the end so I decided to have a nap. It looks like I missed all of the picture taking for that nap but I really needed it. Besides, it added to my angelic look don't you think?

I will really enjoy all of the wonderful gifts I got too. They are very meaningful and will help me grow up in the Christian faith. Thanks for welcoming me into the kingdom of God!

Summer Visitors

Thanks to Kayleen, Donald, David, Matthew, Santhy, Kris, Kyle and Tessa for visiting me. I learned a lot this week and had a lot of fun too! I liked all of the attention and the excellent babysitting! It seemed like everyone wanted to spend time with me, probably since I am by far the smallest grandchild (see picture)! Wow, mom and dad will have trouble keeping up with me on their own when you leave!

Having all the extra people around me this week has made me much more comfortable with being held by other people and I will even fall asleep in other people's arms from time to time. Most exciting of all, I learned to sit up on my own! I still fall over a bit but I feel like a pretty big boy being able to sit all on my own!

6 Month Summer Fun Gallery

Summer is great! I get out everyday to shop, go out to eat, go to the park and to church. My new favorite food is carrots though I am a bit messy with them. I like taking short little naps during the day and guess what, I'm now sleeping in my crib! Some of my very favorite things now are trees, ceiling fans and my Rhyme and Discover book. I have also mastered rolling over and can almost sit up on my own. I'm skipping that whole bottle thing and moving right on to a sippy cup. I feel like such a big boy now!

Trip to Edmonton

I had a great time in Edmonton (it is home of the Oilers you know!). The drive was long but I enjoyed the hotel, the mall, the museum and especially the swimming! I wasn't too sure about it the first night, but the second night in the pool I realized it was just like a big bath (which I like). Mom and Dad sure bought a lot of stuff and lots of it was for me... big surprise hey? Anyways, I hope you didn't miss me too much while I was gone because now that I have a taste for travelling there may be no stopping me!





By the way...
- The hotel was a real upscale place on a reserve just west of Edmonton. It was an adventure to get there but a really awesome place once we found it! Good choice mom!
- The totem pole, Korean pagoda, and dinosaur are from the Edmonton Museum. My favorite part was all the large live bugs but dad refused to let me take any pictures with them.
- Mom insisted on stopping at the Chapter's Starbucks for a drink under the Harry Potter display. I have a feeling when she gets the new book I will be second fiddle for a day or two.
