Catching Up - Aug, Sept and Oct

It has been a while since we posted... sorry!

Here are some cute highlights from the end of summer and the beginning of fall!

Grade 1 is going very well and Mrs. DuMont is a great teacher! Cale is loving learning to read using the Daily 5 and he especially loves Explore +4 math since his mom created it and all!  Cale also likes the talking circle at the beginning of each day and is really enjoying learning French.

Kira's birthday was a highlight last week along with Thanksgiving with both the Kaisers and Fladagers. Kira had an 'under the sea' birthday complete with Red Lobster meal, carnival fish tank and Little Mermaid movie.

Cale has been working hard on making movies!  His first film is called "The Lost Pilot'.  A sequel will be available soon with new 'green screen' techniques!

Panorama - 2013 Edition

There is so much to do sky high in Panorama that we just had to come back for a second time.  I loved the EuroBungy where I did double and triple flips!  Mom and I both climbed to the top of the rock wall and rang the bell!  We had a picnic by the Toby River, we played mini-golf, went on the bouncers, went for a hike to find fort Hide & Seek again, rode the gondola and chair lifts, played giant checkers and lots of other games, plus we swam everyday! I brought my bike this time too and fit in with the dare-devil BMXers up there this time of year.   It was a great trip again with pretty good weather.  There is still more to do up there though, so maybe we will go back again sometime.

Soccer

Congratulations Team Germany on a great season!  Thanks to Coach Al too! Thanks also to all of my fans who came to watch me play.  I always had a huge cheering section, sometimes all the way from Australia and Iowa! I think I will play indoor soccer next.
