DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!

We had a FANTASMIC time in Disneyland! Favorite things we did include Star Tours (3D Star Wars simulation ride), Phantom Menace (in 3D), create your own light-saber, Star Wars Lego, and the amazing experience Cale had training to become a Jedi! Notice a theme yet?

Below are the links to the "Jedi Training Academy" videos. Cale was selected from the audience to be on stage, learn "the ways of the force" and then battle the "Dark Side". He was not at all afraid to go toe to toe with Darth Vadar! Spoiler alert, the "padawans" defeated Darth Maul and Darth Vadar thanks to the training they received from the Jedi Masters. The force is strong with this one!!!!

Below are the links to YouTube for the entire training. Keep an eye on the Jedi on stage with the "ears". We suggest watching the 3rd one in particular because that is the Cale vs Vadar battle!

Other highlights of the trip were the Goofy breakfast where the characters visit you at your table while you're eating, the amazing fireworks and World of Colour show, meeting all of the characters and getting their autographs, and swimming outside in the hotel pool. We walked into Disneyland on the first day and met Mickey Mouse right away. It was truly magical. Of course we loved the rides too. We went on 32 different rides. Our favourites were Star Tours (big surprise), The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Carribean, and walking through Sleeping Beauty's Castle. It was busy but Cale didn't mind waiting (and we did a lot of that).

A "Bouncing" 5th Birthday

Cale had a great birthday that stretched out to a whole week of fun parties. First we celebrated with Auntie Lisa whose birthday is only three days after Cale's. Then he got to spend a day with Grandma and Grandpa Kaiser and the last event was a party with his friends at Dinobouncers. It was a great place to have a party with 5 boys on a night when the temperature was a frigid -30. Check out the Birthday Party Ninjas!
Thank you to all who made Cale's birthday so special.
