Welcome Summer!

I am so happy that summer is finally here. I was introduced to the world when it was -22 degrees so the 44 degree difference is really pleasant. I love wiggling my bare toes and going for my daily walks in the sunshine. My mom tells me that my daddy will be on vacation soon so that means I get to spend everyday with him. I can't wait. We are also going on a vacation to Edmonton on July 4th. Apparently the world's biggest shopping mall is there. My mom is training me for shopping early.

Something else that I am looking forward to is all of the visitors I will be having the end of July. My relatives from the Yukon and from Iowa are coming for my baptism on July 29th. I can't wait to play with my cousins David, Matthew, Kyle and Tessa. Unfortunately my cousins from Hong Kong won't be able to come.

With summer, we might not be able to update the blog as often as we have been but keep checking. Also, summer is a great time for visits. After the first week of July, we'll be around for the rest of the summer. I'd love to play with you!

Yummy!

I love my cereal! It takes some getting used to at first but after that I dig right in. Garcon! Bring me my steak and lobster!

My Photographer

Sorry the link didn't work last week. Here is a second attempt. Look for three pictures of our family in the slideshow. Look for a belly, a bow and a blue blanket.

Note, to avoid having to watch the entire slideshow, you can find 2 of the photos under "Maternity and Newborns" and one more under "Children" in the portfolio links at the bottom of the title page.

5 Month Gallery

Now that I'm 5 months old I figured it was time for me to act like a big boy. I sit up on my own in my new seat, I play in my activity chair (I especially like to hear "the yellow lion story" over and over and over again), I play in the bath, I go out lots (shopping, to restaurants, and art festivals like the Cathedral Village Arts Festival and Bazart), and today, I ate some rice cereal for the first time! I'm still working on sleeping more, liking my crib and not crying when being held by people other than my mom and dad. The older I get the more fun I'm having!

P.S. Sorry to everyone I've cried / screamed at in the last while!

Who's that baby?

Actually, from what we've read, babies don't recognize their own image in a mirror until about 15 months, but it does keep them entertained!

Sorry there was no posting last weekend, I had a high fever and was not quite myself. I'm feeling much better now and I'm a lot happier too!

Check out the website of the lady who photographs me. Can you find my pictures? Hint, there are 3. I'm a born star!
